HTC Vivid - Unlocked HTC Android smartphone
The HTC Vivid is a 4.5-inch qHD smartphone that operates on Android 2.3Gingerbread. It has a dual-core Snapdragon 1.2Ghz processor that makes your phone activities run smoothly. At only 5.07 inches tall, 2.64 inches across and 0.44 inches thick, the HTC Vivid is packed with many useful features.
The Vivid is equipped with Fourth Generation Network support of LTE that gives you the fastest connections available. Other connections include USB 3.0 for quick data transfers, Wi-Fi to get connected to the wed, microUSB, USB Charging and the option of HDMi via microUSB.
Take stunning photos with HTC Vivid’s 8 megapixel camera that has a dual LED flash and autofocus. It can record 1080p HD videos at 30 frames per second and 720p HD videos at 30 frames per second. Other camera features include f/2.2 aperture, Geo-tagging and face detection, 28mm lens and back-illuminated sensor. Its front 1.3megapixel camera is excellent for clear video calling and self-portraits.
Stock all your files in the 16GB internal memory and if you want even more space you can expand up to 32GB with the microSD card slot. The Vivid also has 1024MB of built in RAM.
The HTC Vivid is made out of a high-gloss plastic body with a thin metal plate for the battery cover. On the left side of the HTC Vivid is a flush micro-USB port, while a 3.5mm Beats Audio-enabled headphone jack and power/lock button is on the top. A volume control is placed at the right edge, with a small hole for the microphone at bottom. There are four backlit buttons across the front of the device, Home, Menu, Back, and Search respectively.
There are many pre-installed applications to get you started; some include Google's usual services: Gmail, Maps, turn-by-turn voice navigation, and YouTube. Others are: Amazon Kindle, FM Radio, MOG Music, the NFS Shift game demo, Polaris Office, Yellow Pages Mobile, and Qik Lite for video chats. But don’t forget the basic applications like the calendar, clock, calculator, the music player, and voice search.
Also built in the HTC Vivid are many sensors such as: Accelerometer, Proximity Sensor, Ambient light sensor, Gyroscope and eCompass.
The HTC Vivid uses a Li-Ion 1620 mAh Standard battery, that allow you to have up to 7 hours of talk time and 188 hours of standby time enough to get through days without charging.
